I would have went wet 120 or 200 Diamond and then a 200 monkey pad to remove the resin marks left by the diamond

We just finished a very difficult job taking a Carrara shower and bathroom wall combination down to a honed satin finish. Starting off at 220 diamonds didn't budge it much so went to 120 diamonds (welt). Then tried a # 1 vortex pad, that didn't budge it either, so evened out with 150 honing powder. There were still many swirl marks, so went to 200 sand paper and that seemed to do the trick to even out the swirls. Probably could have skipped the honing powder, but not sure. B

We just keep it simple.Dry sanding to 220 then either resins or honing powder to desired levelKeep in mind you need to bring the color back inPossible enhancing or small amount of polish compound to bring in color.
Sent from my iPhoneI would hit the white build with a soft wire brush may be a little bit of CLR, it might turn the area lighter gray but then I would hit the whole surface with a honing powder to make a uniform then hit with a color enhancer

Partners any suggestions to restore a shower floor with years of use. I believe it is a tumbled marble.
