The lighter rough surface granite is called flamed granite. The others are just hones granites. As far as Identifying exactly what the name is would take research. That means looking at several pages of granites on the Internet.

That needs only to be done if your looking for replacement tiles. That I can not do for you because it's too time consuming, and there could be too many to look through.

I only look for specific types of stone when it's part of an estimate to replace tiles included on a restoration project that includes replacement of tiles.

As far as care instruction what type it is, does not matter. Care is usually the same method on most stone.

The PM believes that the maintenance crew has been using a peroxide based cleaner for daily maintenance. They are simply looking for a proper restoration cleaning, along with providing guidance for ongoing maintenance. Pretty basic stuff....but also would like to identify the tiles. Your thoughts?
