We are trying to avoid using that. Unless, that is the only option. He (customer) assumed there was a way to apply something over the existing without removing any of it. Doesn’t appear to be the case. Thanks!

Other than a grout saw, there is a grout cutter that fits on to a dremel. You might be able to adjust it to the exact depth.

We have a mutual business partner that hired installers for a rectified porcelain tile job. The customer is being a stickler about the grout being slightly under the tile’s edge. Does anyone know of anything that can be used to “skim” over the existing grout to bring it up flush with the rectified porcelain tile without having to remove and replace and of the existing grout? Depth is as little as 2 mm (width of a quarter) in some places.
