What is the percentage of the main orange tiles? It may be beneficial just to change them and live with the ones with the orange tinge to them.

Unless you have a magic wand, I think they will need to tear it out. Thats a good looking floor, it to bad.

Maybe giving it a mat finish and seal it well. Might work. Do a sample first. Baseboard tiles will be a pain to mat out.
