Very hard to remove a stain like that on a vertical surface-the discoloration is caused by water intruding into the jint and wicking up throught the edge of the stone.
Sometimes they will just dry out over time once the moisture issue is mitigated.
Needs some serious caulking.

Here is a shower that has been drying for over 2 months. We know the white is the efflorescence, however, it appears that the stone has absorbed something into the lower portion. We are looking to try and poultice it out. Any suggestions? Thanks!
