Hi,
We have a serpentine interior shower that has become damaged. I did a test and I believe the serpentine tiles were factory coated. In some areas where the whiteness shows, color enhancing doesn't take, I believe, because of the sealant. In other areas where the surface is more exposed, the color enhancement works (see bottom right of photo for test patch). My knee jerk reaction is that any honing and polishing will not work and probably make the situation worse. Any ideas on how to approach this job. The owners don't have an expectation that it can be made whole, but at least would like to see the situation improved without yanking out and replacing the serpentine ( the shower matches the rest of the bathroom). Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Baird
