Barry,

Those are glass tiles I would not recommend you hone over them. They are very delicate. I use these in a new training class I’m doing for the application of the new thin tiles.

Subject: I need help on marble tiles with mother of pearl inserts

Hello Partners,

Thank you in advance to all who can help me with this marble tile with mother of pearl inserts.  The inserts are about 2" squares.  The inserts are made with 10 rows of 10 small squares of m of p pieces.  I don't know how they would react to a resin diamond honing process followed by a polish, or for that matter, are they too delicate to survive such a treatment?  Obviously I can use the resins on a hand machine and go around them, but I always feel that you can see the difference between the hand machine/ floor machine areas.

Any/ all comments are appreciated.  Photos included.

Thanks,

Barry
