You never know how deep the staining goes until you abrade the surface-I would try cutting it dry to see the depth of the stain. Then take the appropriate action.

These lines look to be about the size of a 2X4.  I believe that they originate from packing materials. It is limestone. It was installed about three weeks ago and is slightly lighter in some places.  How do I remove them? I would guess honing,  but I wanted to hear what all of you had to say. Thanks in advance.
