Its possible the sealer/ enhancer was over applied
Usually an enhancer wont show that much on a travertine-would be good to see a picture-

Might wipe the enhanced stone with acetone a couple of times.

Subject: Can enhanced sealer on travertine tile backsplash be removed?

I loved the travertine tile before a sealer was even put on. Three people told me it would look even better if I used enhanced sealer on it. Now I like the tile job but I don't love it like before. Is there something I can use to remove the enhancer sealer or do I have to live with it?

Thank you for your help. It is very much appreciated.
