My perspective is - it never ends (not necessarily in a bad way). Case in point: I am sitting at a lake in Canada 140 miles north of Toronto answering this email.
More seriously - the question is really - how do you manage your time and resources in an ongoing project?  It's really important to carve out time for exercise and those other things that are important in your life. But the business stuff is always there. If you're not on the job, you are selling, solving problems, having inspirations in the middle of the night, etc.
