Correction, the vac I used for 10 years was a Mastercraft, not a Powerflite.  I use cheap HD vacs (shop-vac) for slurry, stripping, and things I don’t want to trash my good vacs. The cuff from a professional hose fits inside that big hose and you can use professional tools.

I think most of us buy what is local or someone tell us it’s a good vacuum.
Hell Walmart has a shopvac for 59.99 work ok for a small vacuum.

I am also thinking about getting another wet vac. I have a Mastercraft for three years and it's still working like new. I have purchased additional wands from a local janitorial supply store. He also services vacs and various other machines. He claims nothing comes close to Mastercraft for quality and also the parts are easy to get.
I'm curious why nobody else has mentioned Mastercraft in this email thread.

We use Pullman Holt. A little pricy but well made and parts are available. Not a big fan of power flite stuff. I have had a lot of problems with their equipment in general.

Power flyte are OK Vacs-Whats nice about them is that you can order parts and have them delivered quickly including motors-which are easy to install.
They are loud vac motors-we used them for years-now we use Pullman vacs and Samich vacs which aren't too bad.

Looking at them now, seem to be less expensive than crusader brand wet/dry vacuums. How long have you been using them?

Get a Power-flite catalog. They have some good choices in poly or SS. Decent prices too.

Getting ready to ad some new vacuums. Vacuum just for wet and slurry pick up. Also a vacuum to rinse and pick up. I was wondering if you had any suggestions?

Thanks
