2 things to try,  Stone Care pro heavy duty Tile & Grout cleaner. Scrub with brush for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse with water and wet vac.  If that does not work try Alpha RSR2000 this is a clear gel when you put it on if it is working you will see the gel turn purple you only leave it on for about 5 minutes then again rinse with water and wet vac  The stone may have some purple in it and the color will go away over the next 24 hours.  To speed up the process of removing the purple you can carefully scrub with 35% peroxide but be careful to rinse any rags that come in contact with the product they can spontaneously combust if the are not neutralized in water.   I would try the Grout & tile cleaner 1st it is cheaper, quicker and safer that the other process. If you do not have any of the grout and tile cleaner you can use any Hydyocloric or Phosphoric acid base cleaners, I do not recommend Muratic since it may rust metals or kill plants in the nearby areas.

Good luck, Bill Selik

Hey guys,

This Canterra stone 1 tile was cleaned with MB-2 and the other cleaned with a high alkaline acrylic stripper. It turned the stone this orange color. Any ideas on fixing?

Thank you, we appreciate your business!
