Their is good money in repairs. We do crack repairs, chips, breaks & broken stone. We also do epoxy injection on loose un-replaceable tiles. Then grout them. We Also do the long cracks front of the granite sink caused by the Suport bar corroding and rusting. It's good money. 1 day job me and a helper $1,500 -$1,800. No one else is doing this out here. We get so many of them. 

I use Tenax or Superior knife grade clear polyester resin and travertine filler. 
Also you have to have the coloring kit. 
All 3 about $60
You need Laqcuer thiner & spreader too. Another $20
It takes a lot of practice learning how to make the colors, especially the semi-tranperant granite colors.
But it's all very doable & good money.
Customers out here pay us $250 flat fee to fix a few little chips on their granite. I give those to the techs for side money on the week end. In & out 1hr. Same time their learning how to match colors
