Thank you for the input everyone. Stu I emailed her with questions and haven't heard back of course. Sorry it was a ruff day watching the Chargers do what they do yesterday 😳😡. Hope all your guys teams had better outcomes.ThanksJustin
Sent from my iPhoneJustin,We had a similar situation with a floor installation. On a vertical surface, this would obviously be more challenging, with limited dwell time.
The installer applied grout sealer, which appears to have bled into the stone. To resolve the issue, we applied an alkaline cleaning product (Modern Clean by Modern Stone Technologies) to the floor, scrubbed with a tampico brush on a floor machine, & extracted with a truck mount. I've attached a before and after picture. If you look closely at the after, you'll still see some residual discoloring, but overall it worked well.On Sun, Sep 11, 2016 at 3:24 PM, Justin Cameron <justin@jmcstoneandtilecare.

this projecctwas done in mid March. Mason told us that these stains will disappear as it is caused by moisture absobed by stone . we have been waitng for. five months with not much luck. He thinks is caused by alkaline staining.
I wonder if there some way to remove these stains. He is suggesstig paiting the fireplace.
Thanks for your very prompt response
