It appears to be etched. The texture of the stone is uneven and not really smooth with small pits everywhere that gather soil.

This appears to be quartz. You need to treat it like granite. Normally you don’t get etching on quartz? Are you sure it’s etched or is it the stone?

Partners this stone was sold to the customer as Quartz. It looks like a honed marble with etching and small pits all over the stone. The surface is not smooth but more of a contoured wavy finish. Any thoughts would be great!
