Although we are Stone Restoration guys we do have Partners in our system that will deal with other hard surfaces, including VCT. When we receive requests for help from consumers we attempt to answer their questions. We have a huge mix of experience in our Partner group and any help we can give the consumer helps us with our google rankings, and promoting our business worldwide.
I always appreciate when I get feedback from Partners to help consumers and I'm grateful for those of you who take the time to respond to Consumer Questions.

Thanks much,

Doug

VCT stands for Vinyl Composition Tile and someone is looking for answers from stone restoration guys?
As Stu said all vct tiles are waxed at least they should be waxed so the floor hast to be striped and waxed because the discoloration is in the wax.
If they never waxed the floor it may or may not come off if the composition is discolored deep.

Most likely the vct has been waxed-the stain has degraded the wax in that area.
Strip off or remove the wax/coating which will remove the stain-then re-wax.
If the floor isnt waxed then bleach and or soft scrub should work-

Any chance you can get a picture. Some people consider etch/dull marks stains. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words

Good day Partners,

A consumer needs the following advice:

I had broken up chemical lights on the floor for a Halloween party and the dye from the chemlight has left stains on my vct tiles. I have tried almost everything going I can think of. I don't see it on your list, but was wondering if you had any advice?

Let me know if you have any ideas for this consumer.

Thanks much,

Doug
