Chris,

I would attempt to use a combination to fix this problem. I would use a
stripper called Renegade we get out our local Daycon janitorial center.
After stripping a couple times, (using a Malish brush) I would use an
acidic cleaner(as the stone has a rough surface/honed/flamed) and oxyclean
combination. The Malish brush will be ideal for the textured surface and
the oxyclean may help brighten the older tiles to help match more closely
the new ones. Good luck!
