Attached are before and after pics of a surface polish completed yesterday on Brown Persia?? Granite. Builder job, fabricator is paying me to fix the installers surface polishing goof. Called the installer twice to understand why the
stone had to be polished and what was applied. Never answered… I assume its wax. Ground down the rail to 200 grit using turbo alpha pads. Brought back to 1K then switched to the resin alpha 3” pads (1k-3K). finished off with mb20 and white flooring pad
(like it better than hogs hair). Thought I was golden, but some of the “stuff” this guy used is still showing (see pic 2). Only thing I could think of is that the wax penetrated further into the stone. Short of grinding further and starting over, what other
techniques can be performed. Try scraping the wax w/ MB2 and a blade and it only made the are worse. Thanks for the feed back and happy Thanksgiving…
