Not Entirely sure whats happening there-my first thought is you may have used to much MB-20.
There is no need to grind further-try using 5X or anything similar to remove any old residues of topicals.
Then use a hogs hair Pad(5 Inch) and try the MB-20 again. Use very little and build up the speed so you can run the product dry on the surface.
You have to find the right pressure as well. The scope is to work the pad using some mists of water and heat so that you get a nice clarity and no smuggy-ness.
You can work or build up the MB-20 so use less than you think even makes sense-

Partners,

Attached are before and after pics of a surface polish completed yesterday on  Brown Persia?? Granite.   Builder job, fabricator is paying me to fix the installers surface polishing goof.  Called the installer twice to understand why the stone had to be polished and what was applied.  Never answered…  I assume its wax.  Ground down the rail to 200 grit using turbo alpha pads.  Brought back to 1K then switched to the resin alpha 3” pads (1k-3K).  finished off with mb20 and white flooring pad (like it better than hogs hair).  Thought I was golden, but some of the “stuff” this guy used is still showing (see pic 2).  Only thing I could think of is that the wax penetrated further into the stone.  Short of grinding further and starting over, what other techniques can be performed.  Try scraping the wax w/ MB2 and a blade and it only made the are worse.  Thanks for the feed back and happy Thanksgiving…

Thank You,

Eric Vogel
