There salespeople are a bunch of thieves I agree. I had to beat them off me time & time again. They suggested that biz will drop if I didn't pay more. I hated them for a long time. They finally layed off & left me alone with the account I have. It's hard to wade through what works best in different city & state, but in contra costa county California I used the free add for 1 year then decided to pay after talking to other stone restoration co. That confirmed it worked and was advised by the what to pay for.

I'm sure yelp is not for every one but after dealing with a lot of their sales crap it's working for me.

I tried it for a 6 month run, not impressed. In our niche industry I don’t feel it’s necessary, if I owned a restaurant or pizza place different story. You can build your own yelp site, upload pictures, ask for reviews without spending a dime with them.
