Hi Joe, I've done lots of work with realtors and have done many presentations before many realty groups.
I've made good money from them too, BUT when they start telling you how much work they are going to send you and how many houses they sell and how they could have really used your services in the past so many times before, their next request is usually to do this big one job for cheep to see if you measure up, then They will have you rolling in the $$$.....ya right....

I tell them forgive me but I hear that from realtors a lot then I never hear from them again.

If they looked like a shining star and disappear after that, they were trying to take advantage of you.

BUT you can tell them, I do have realtors that have sent me work consistently and to them I give the discounts after a few jobs and even cut them to the front of the line as busy as we get so they can close that sudden last minute urgent deal.

We are all doing sales but I've noticed a stark difference with some realtors not all.
Actually my wife is a realtor😝Just beware, some of them are so full of 🐂💩. They're job is sales... they're a different bread of customers.

You know for getting more business I targeted all the tile & stone stores, glass store for kitchen & bath in a 30 mile radius. Then I made a point to meet the owner, manager and every one that answers the phone. I made sure they fully understood what stone restoration is because many just assumed another tile or fabricator contractor. I wrote all there names down. Made sure they all had my cards and a couple photo albums of our work along with a box of Krispy cream donuts.

Did this for years. Also did $10 Starbucks cards and $10 subway cards alway with my name on it saying thank you from patriot. And I always made sure EVERY ONE got one. I even left extras for the manager to pass to any one not there.

I've had 15 dozen boxes of donuts in the back of my car so many times. All worth it

I probably go around maybe one a year saying thank you and passing cards

I also talked & met with all the residential general contractors tile contractors & more "don't wast your time on Realtor"
I told them how I can help with new stone if it got scratched chipped broken or etched. And also provide sealing after.

It has truly paid off.

Fortunately there are no competitors close by.

They ALL call you trying to SUCK every dollar out of us.

Ask them what kind of a guarantee they are giving you for your money, LOL

I love it when they say if you pay them $500.00 a month and get 1 $500.00 job you break even. Then I school them with the cost of employees, workers comp, insurance, etc. Shuts them right up

Thank you
