The South Florida market is a crazy low priced market, the low pricing has moved into the Central and northern Florida. For years the pricing to hone and polish in South Florida has been in the $1.25 to$ 1.50 per sq. price range. In our service business in the central Florida market we average $1.65 to on a good day $1.85 per sq.

We have worked with those prices for years, actually lately we have been able to increase prices due to the increased requests for service.

In the Orlando market we have over 20 restoration companies, some are good most are poor. However you have to learn how to compete in this type of market. Over the years we have ways to make money at this type of pricing.

For those of you that get $3.50 and more per sq. count your blessing.

It seems to me anyone pricing a job that low is going to burn themselves out or go out of business.

Usually companies like that come and go quickly after they realize how hard it is to do stonework.

Hopefully that's the case for you out there

We charge average 3.5  for Single stage polish that includes minimal diamond honing here and there on travertine and Crema Marfell.

I always charge separate for epoxy whole fill on travertine.

I always leave open on the estimate additional charge for grout repair with no guarantee on color match of Grout. I always tell them we can only get it as close as the colors that are available.

I’m bidding between $2.00 to $3.00 per sqft for a couple light hone steps and a polish and my clients are telling me I am the middle priced company. Located in SW florida.
