To get the urethane off you're probably going to need to use paint stripper. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation and protect everything thoroughly. Make sure you charge accordingly because it's a pain in the butt. High end property managers are usually called estate managers and are looking for good quality workmanship and the price is usually second to them. But always remember they are looking out for their employers

My son just had a request to remove polyurethane from a slate floor (which he estimates has been on for more than 30 yrs.) which is starting to peel. Any suggestions as best method for removal?  Also would like any feedback regarding working with high end home property managers? Good/bad experience? What to expect, do/not to do?
