The samich looks exactly like the klindex I have with a planetary head. Great machine for Med size jobs.
I've completely rebuilt mine been through 2 Transmition 1 planetary head and a about 4 clutch drivers. But for the hell I put it through it's been a great dependable machine for small to Med size jobs.
I had to put a new motor in it and completely rewire it because an idiot electrician wired me into 440 power and blew it up. His response was, "oh sorry dude". Time is money and sometimes you got to hire who you can get. He was unlicensed, big mistake on my part. Lots of smoke and a loud blast!!!
But it runs like new and it strong.
The Samich looks like the same machine. I would highly recommend it if it's The same machine under a different name.
On countertops with wide-open space we use a regular 110 floor machine with a 35 pound weighted pad driver. It could be dangerous for the unskilled with the handlebar extension but once you get used to it it's all good.
Often with the lesser skilled techs it's a two-man job right before the polish is ready to pop because of the bind.
I have not yet but I plan on removing the extension bar on one of my machines to make it a dedicated countertop polisher so it's always a one-man operation.
I use only the power flight classic 110 floor machines for polishing and minor floor hone & grinding. I have several of them and they last for years and we beat the hell out of them.
When they appear to burn out, you only need to change The start and run capacitor. Then they continue on for many years.
I never understood why several other companies charge $1800 or more for the same 110 machine that does the same thing.
The power-flite classic is less than $600.
It works for me, that's my 2cents
