I tried both the NCL and the CRC on that polished porcelain tile. It didn't do anything. But it did do a great job on some other ones I did.

Subject: Re: Porcelain Tile Polishing

Hi Ryan,

Yes I've had some experience with attempting to polish "Polished Porcelain Tile". I had a customer that called me she has 2500 ft.² of 24 inch polished porcelain tile.

She said when she picked it in the store it look beautiful but once it was installed and you look at it all the way across the floor you can see a lot of Haze or what appears to be Haze.

I've polished out blemishes on polished porcelain tile before with great results but this one wasn't responding.

Although the articles online said that these Haze patches cannot be removed because it has to do with the way it's manufactured I figured I was going to find a way because that's "what we all do". When I sent the email out I didn't get any response from any other stone restoration pro's. I exhausted all my attempts and gave up.

Make sure you get some extra tiles from the customer to do your test. I wouldn't attempt something like this on the customers floor unless I know it's gonna work.

Good luck

Hi Guys!

Here are a few photos of some honed porcelain that has a rough texture that the homeowners do not like. We have a polishing compound and are getting ready to do some samples with the monkey pads, but I wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this in the past. Thanks!

It is CEBU SILVER MATTE,12X24

Thank you, we appreciate your business!
