I agree with Tony. Its called optical hazing and it is a bunny trail. Porcelain is too hard for a polish imperfection to be polished out with a compound.It would need to be knocked back first, then brought up and this would totally change the look of the tiles. Here are a few photos of some honed porcelain that has a rough texture that the homeowners do not like. We have a polishing compound and are getting ready to do some samples with the monkey pads, but I wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this in the past. Thanks!
