Is there anything you would recommend we try (iron out poultice?) that is worth the time and will achieve any worthwhile results - “Band-aide on a
bullet wound”? Or are we fighting nature and there is nothing we can do of value to remedy it?

I run into this problem all the time..The attached article should explain it. To sum up..Its the natural iron oxides in the stone that are rusting.

Wanted to pick your brains on this. We are going to look at it person and wanted to know any recommendations for questions to ask/things to test for. We will be testing for moisture as always,

One of my better contractors has a new shower installation of one of our white marbles which has started yellowing. Is this something you have encountered before? I have attached photos of two affected shower pans.
