This may be a question for Fred. By their nature, most gloss finishes are film forming. The bad thing about that is that stone wants/ needs to breathe. You might be okay with a counter because there will be unfinished overhang. The other issue is that the granite is much more durable and scratch resistant than any film forming finish that you can put on. I would call xGen and see if their product could be used in these circumstances. Since it is a siloxane, it is pretty durable and very thin. At the end of the day, if you have unfinished pottery on the bottom of a bowl or plate sliding across it, that grit may put micro scratches in it. Make sure you manage the customers expectations.

Hi all,
I have this large granite kitchen with jet mist leather and a hi gloss enhancer topical. The enhancer I have is not high-gloss and I'm wondering if anybody knows where I can get this wet look enhancer for a honed leathered finish granite.
