Subject: Silver nitrate damage

Any tips or suggestions? I've only seen the pictures, so I'm not sure if it's a stain or topical damage.

"I stained my granite bathroom counter with silver nitrate and I'm hoping someone can assist by buffing this out. It's a small area (two spots about 4 inches in diameter). This was caused by a silver nitrate applicator stick (like a Q-tip but with solid silver nitrate on the end)."
