This stone looks to be an unfilled travertine. If the customer wants it filled I would recommend using traver-fil from VMC supply ion Dallas. This product is much better than grout and is actually marble dust and Portland cement along with curing and bonding agents. Work very well.

Use it in the same manner as if you are grouting the floors. Caution do not mix up large amounts of product, it cure quickly. This product will not  shrink and in large hole grout will probably pop out over time and will shrink.

If hole are too large you may need to do a second application.

Allow to cure overnight them finish honing and finishing.

Hey guys, we did this bid for a homeowner that has some soft Travertine. The stone is crumbling underneath the fill and allowing it to come out. I was wondering if you guys thought a densifier would work out in helping this issue or any other ideas you may have to resolve this.
