I would try w small wire brush.

You can all so try wiping as close as you right up to the edge after sealing.

Subject: Plank wood like color seal.

Hi Partners,

So we have been running into some issues when we are color sealing the grout joints on the wood like plank tile. During our traditional method of applying the color seal we use hands and knee with a 2”x2” piece of sponge and a damp towel to wipe off the excess. Doing this leaves minimal excess still on the tiles that we usually clean off by hand or with a floor machine. With the wood like tiles the color seal is staying in the texture of the tiles and is requiring us to use lacquer thinner to remove the excess. This can be a problem for older homeowner or someone with pets or kids. I was wondering what methods you are using to apply color seal to these tiles and the method of cleaning up the excess and do you use any tools when applying the color seal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
