That sounds about how we price. I have to say that I have been bidding against some ridiculously low prices around here. To me the greatest variable is concrete hardness and roughness. Last summer I chewed up an entire set of 30 grit concrete diamonds over about 200 sf of floor because the floor was so soft and rough. So the diamonds should optimally be matched to the floor. Test with a moh hardness Kit (around $90). Also take into account whether you need to finish edges. May not be necessary if the baseboard will be dropped over the edge after work is done. Also, I typically take up to 800 grit, seal, burnish with 1500 vortex pad, seal again and burnish with 3000 vortex.

Stephen,

We charge $7 per square for polished up to 1,800 for jobs under 3,000 sf. For jobs over 3,000sf we drop to $5 per. We add a dollar per sf for color.

No need to polish over 1,800 grit. After sealing , burnish with a 3,000 or higher pad. Here is a pic of 1,800 grit.

Hey All, what would be a ball park price range to charge to highly polish a concrete slab probably to 3000+?
