No, I ask this morning, Looks like the property manager did a Google search and the below is what she came up with. I already knew it was an Epoxy floor. It was installed 2 years ago so the chances of it being cement were almost impossible. LOL

Normal people would have just put "the floor is an EPOXY terrazzo"

There are 3 types of terrazzo flooring systems according to the NTMA:

1.       All terrazzo systems – contain marble or other types of aggregates materials that have surface exposure.  Marble aggregates have a low porosity of absorption.

2.       Portland cement systems – The portion of this floor system that most benefits from primary protection is the Portland cement binder.  Sealers will also assist protecting the marble chips or other aggregates.

3.       Epoxy resin systems – the binder for this terrazzo system is fundamentally non-porous.  Sealers assist protecting the aggregates and normally enhance easthetics

Good morning.  I have never heard of this with regard to a maintenance system.  I know that the modern terrazzos use epoxy resins as opposed the cementitious matrix that the old terrazzos use.  I have worked on both and find the resins easy to polish but tricky to grind.  I never take diamonds to resin without the customer signing off on the potential of more work.  Diamonds easily open up air pockets in the resin and there can often be a huge amount of filling to do.  In a large area that can be really expensive.  Hope that helps.
