Located in southwest Florida- I would protect your reputation and say this will be on going problem, put on a quarter basis maybe sooner or… a maintenance program to spruce it up. The sun will destroy it in a short time.
We have a client that had a dry treat rep apply to their outside stone (a lot of stone), they said it lasted 3 weeks. They never thought twice about calling this rep back.
This property is a very large home on the ocean with extremely clean owners. For an example the stone inside the home is 13 yrs old looks new and has never been restored. I know the salty air plays a big part to.
I proposed to them and you all to put these on a maintenance program. I am going on three services for restoration at this place for the stone that is exposed to the sun we service it every 6 months. They love high gloss, even around the pool area and all patios.
They did comment later, if I would of pushed getting the stone sealed again they would of not hired us, Now they know what the sun does to surfaces outside.
You figure the sun is oxidizing the very surface you are applying the sealer to…so the very foundation for the sealer is being made weak. How can the sealer stand on a weak foundation. Its can't
