I think an alkaline cleaner or butyl based degreaser would be a start. When in doubt, have acetone handy. Typically these waxes are not very durable unless they have used it over and over and it has clogged pores and soaked in. If it cannot be stripped and this is on natural polished stone, it is possible that using a honing powder and 5x would be enough. It would be too bad if you would have to grind but that might be a last resort.PresidentMobile: 309.251.3192-------- Original Message --------

As far as I know minwax is a stain and if thats the case its not going to be easy removing it. I would try a solvent like a paint stripper first and see what that does.On Mon, Aug 14, 2017 at 7:10 AM, Shirley Falcon <info@falconfloorandsurfacecare.com > wrote:Received call yesterday from potential client and seeing him at 1pm Eastern Time. With those who have experience with Minwas and Dupont wax, do you have any feedback on removal other than Alkaline cleaning?Customer wanted me to tell him how to clean it, then what kind of "wax" to use on it wanting to know what we use. I graciously did not go into any of that. Now he want me to clean it and he will put Minwax or Dupont back on it.--Visit list archives, subscribe, unsubscribe or change your subscription preferences: http://stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com/sccpartners Start a new conversation (thread): sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com --Frederick M.
