Tell him he needs a new dealer. Seriously as long as there is a coating on it it is going to scratch unless he has the Dogs declawed.  And that's just wrong

A customer has a slate floor on the kitchen that he has attempted to strip the dealer off of and has made a mess. He want he floor to be stripped, cleaned and sealed, but want to prevent scratches from his bigs dogs. I haven't responded to him yet,  but going to tell him there is now way I know of to prevent the dogs from scratching the except to get rid of the dogs. I really wouldn't say that, but don't believe that it's possible to prevent them from happening. Pleas correct me if I am wrong in my thinking thanks.
