I would try acetone and/or something stronger with methylene chloride on a small patch just to see if it takes it off. Also test an area with a grout saw very lightly to see if it cuts through the stuff. We just worked on 6 public hotel bathrooms and used a grout saw lightly over the grout lines to get a coating off. Worked fine without a lot of mess.B________________________________________ From the desk ofBaird StandishManaging PartnerFacility Specialists, LLCPhone: 215-732-7505Fax: 215-546-9160Looks like a type of paint, colored coating or color seal.On Wed, Oct 11, 2017 at 6:16 PM, Dan Brown <dan@vcleaning.com> wrote:We have been tasked to clean and make some repairs on this floor. It appears that someone had skim coated this years ago with a nonsanded product...and definitely not cementitious. I would love to skim coat it with the same or similar product. Can anyone help me identify this? Thanks so much! <image1.jpeg>
