I agree with Scott! Try MB-22.
I find honing powder makes the finish look grainy even when just leaving at honed finish or polishing after a honing powder.
But I have a great eye for things like this after being in the automotive industry for years before and during my time in this industry.

Another option is to try honing powder first. The suggestion about increasing the water in your slurry is also true.
