Looks like travertine. If it is just light surface rust, sometimes it can be removed with an alkaline cleaner and light scrubbing. Start with that. For any remaining rust that may have penetrated, try RSR-2000, TeRust Remover, or make a poultice with Iron Out (don't use too much).Blain Haeg
