We use Ax-it from betco for most of our stripping needs. 
We also use a good quality black pad.
When needed we use 80 grit honing powder under the pad.
In our area- terrazzo can be pretty beat up-we often start at 70 metals almost to the wall.
Then we strip any leftover coating with Ax-It. 
On our swing machines we run 4- 3" metals.
We run our machines at about 180 lbs for stripping.
Removing coatings with a planetary is even faster using metals then strip the residue's
