I just want to add a note of caution to what Stu share (which was great, btw).
Once you begin removing any stock to speak of you have to be careful of making a divot. Make sure you figure into the quote the size you will have to go to feather into any grind. A small spot becomes a large one quickly and you have to figure that in your pricing and prepare the customer.

It will need to be honed (cut) out and through the use of progressive grits of diamond abrasives(resin pads) restore the factory finish to the material.You will need to be careful you dont go to deep and damage the material-make sure you write a good contract and explain the issues with this type of repair.There is a variety of products you can find for engineered stone-I like Gamma pads, Alpha Ceramica's,and Honeycomb pads.Darker colored materials as a rule are harder to polish than lighter colored materials. Always get a test sample to work with so you can gauge your results prior to the actual work.For finishing this material MB-20 or a crystallizer will work well.
