Dr Fred told me about 7 or 8 years ago, when I had a similar problem, and all my acid side cleaners and alkaline cleaners failed to remove the haze of epoxy grout on a new porcelain installation, to mix a surfactant (we used Tide) with an abrasive (honing or polishing powders), with a stripping pad on a floor machine, and the haze disappeared. Plus, the Tide made my truck mount smell Springtime Fresh. Thanks Dr Fred.

However those things can take forever so if you use an abrasive either before, after or both it may make the job go faster. On Fri, Nov 17, 2017 at 8:54 AM, John Freitag <jfreitag@thestoneandtileschool.com > wrote:Epoxy grout haze normally will not be removed by using and acid based product. If you have a normal grout sanded or non sanded an acid based cleaner or on a marble floor you can use a polishing power to remove the grout haze.
There are products from Aqua Mix or Prosco that will remove epoxy haze. Remember you are dealing with an epoxy not a cement based product. You have to break down the epoxy.

Dilute per instructions, mop on, dwell, agitate, extract, apply neutralizer, extract.
