Yes I tried that. It is a one piece machine. It really is a job of getting it down the stairs. Probably the best thing is to tie some ropes to it and let it down slowly, but here are some contraptions that have wheels that walk down.

Hi everyone. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what to use to get really heavy equipment like a 400lb+ floor grinder down a set of narrow stairs. I have been looking at some stair climbing Dolleys and pulley systems on the internet and there are a lot of contraptions out there, but not sure which ones might be the best bang for the buck.
