As an ex- installer , this is my 2 cents after studying your photoThis appears to be some type of composite one piece, pre sloped panIn that back corner it appears the bottom corse of stones does not extend fully over the edge of the pan, looks like 1/8 grout line filled with grout. This being the case on the install ,there is now a grout filled void that will continually hold water. You can try to dig that material out,dry it out ,and fill with waterproof type silicone, but I don't think you are fixing this without major demo and retile workBest RegardsScott Wilson
Sent from my iPadSeems to me when this happens-white marbles get damp stained. I don't recall being able to fix many of these. Not an easy fix-

ThanksJust wondering what your thoughts are. There did not appear to be any areas in the shower pan that were missing.Hi Fred,I have seen a few of these in the last couple of months. Some were new installations.

Looks like the caulk failed...I would dry it out and recaulk. Make sure it is dry before caulking. I would place some air moverers in the room. It could take a while to dry out. I dehumidifier would work faster.--

Hello Pros,
Anyone have experience in minimizing/removing the water damage in a shower like this? We have dehu’s and poultice at our disposal, but want to offer the lady an assured fix.<image1.png>
