I agree, I don’t recall seeing it to this extent however .
This must have been way less noticeable before stripping ?
Does the color look more even when it’s wet?
Has the client complained about the lighter areas.
Can you post some more pics.
Crystallizer and or a topical finish may help somewhat 
Using stone glamour will darken those areas.
While there are issues using this product one of the pro’s of using it is after applying it you can coat over it and or crystallize.
I can explain further if you like.
In Baird ‘s pic you can clearly see the blank areas but your floor looks just a little light on aggregate. I would love to see more pics.
