They are interesting-not without their pro's and con's am sure.
The pads are aggressive-Grits start 50 and under.
Tony-they do make a pad for VCT as well.

Stripping pads. That sounds interesting! Wonder what finish they would leave on Marble.  Look forward to learning more. Thanks Stu.

Hi Stu, the chemical free stripping pads? Are those for tile and vct? Can they be used on clay pavers?
Thanks

Hey Blain,
We have tested them and are now selling them.
They are a three step system that when used properly gives you an ok polished finish. Not the quality of a powder polish but ideal for a midrange or lower client.(Trying to say that properly) .
The floor pads are a bit stiff so there can be issues with picture framing-you can get a good luster from the pads without using powder -better if you add powder to the final step.
The countertop pads (same as floor pads but smaller) seem to work ok on countertops.
We are still testing them as well-I think they will be good to use on larger commercial jobs where revenue is less and time is important (like hotel jobs, etc).
If you would like to try them let me know.
On another note I just met with a company that makes a line of 17 inch pads for chemical free stripping of coatings.
They also manufacture other hi tech abrasives for refinishers. We will be testing asap and hopefully adding them to our products.

Lately I've seen quite a bit of commotion about these pads. Does anybody have experience with them? Are they similar to Dana's Cheetah and Monkey pads?
