I always recommend to cut the nail heads off and then tap the rest down but the building owners just ignore us floor cleaners LOL.
I had a job like this last year and the guy that underbid me did such a BAD job doing the repairs he got thrown off the jobsite. The building owner said they were trying to fix bad epoxy patches with a Sharpie
marker. I priced it out to fix the screw-ups and complete the floor but the building owners wanted the cheap pricing that the other guy gave. I walked away because I won't work for hotdogs. I like my steak too much.
There was previously carpet. So there are chips where there was tack strips. There is also cracks that need to be repaired
