Sounds like Ace was right-you may have pulled the dye out-Dyes are degraded by acids so if the original complaint was light marks caused by acid that may have been the clue. May be hard to get the original shoe polished look back. Tepox may help along with a color enhancer.Take freds advice and test the absorption-good luck.On Thu, Mar 1, 2018 at 4:59 PM, Fred Hueston <fhueston@gmail.com> wrote:I would first test those light spots with some water and see if it soaks in. If it does than I would reapply Ager Tiger and let it soak in. If the water doesnt soak in than I doubt ager will work. I would try scrubbing the area with a solvent and see if you can get it absorb. On Thu, Mar 1, 2018 at 4:17 PM, Tony Deluna <tndeluna@gmail.com> wrote:Tony DeLunaHi Pro’s, well I did this countertop yesterday. I diamond brushed the hell out of it but I couldn’t get these spots to completely disappear. But they faded significantly and the customer was happy with the results.
I used uniblack and Ager. It made it fade significantly and it looked great when I left. but now it looks like it dried out. Theirs even a ring left by the paper towel dispenser on the right.
Any ideas beyond reapplication of uniblack and Ager?
