I believe it’s called Bianco Romano. It is a granite.

Remember, we are stone working people, not geologists. Most the “granites” to us are not true granite and will have different hardness and chemical resistance characteristics.
Do your own acid test and hardness (scratch) test to confirm the material has the qualities of what we group as “granite”.
It does resemble that of cashmere white.
