Knowing what type of bug spray would help. Is it permethrin or similar?

I can’t imagine that it would permanently affect the granite. I would possibly try to use a good razor blade to remove any buildup on the surface and then clean it good with a Deep Cleaner Stripper/Degreaser and a blue Scotch-brite pad. Evaluate at that point. Re-polish using Granite Polishing Powder dark, Crystallizer and a #0 steel wool if necessary.

If that doesn’t work, lets discuss it.
